Real Estate Websites – Search Engine Results

By Jason Massengale

The idea that your real estate website should generate search engine traffic (a.k.a. FREE traffic) is a fundamental principal behind the design and installation of our websites.  Good search engine placement does more for you than just generate traffic & leads.  It also creates brand awareness.  The more people see your name, the more familiar they become with you.

We also believe it’s something better left for the machines to handle.  You shouldn’t have to waste time adding meta keywords and descriptions and submitting changes to search engines when we can automatically do it for you.

Be Found When People Search For You

The first thing we like to focus on is you being found by people that are specifically looking for you.  These are consumers that already know you and probably want to work with you.

Run this test:

Go to google and type in ” your-name” or “your-name realtor” or “your-name real estate”.

Does your website show up on the first page?  Are you the number 1 listing?  Do you have an indented listing?

If the answer to these questions is NO, your website needs some work and you need some search engine optimization.  It’s a lot easier than you might think it is though.  Our real estate websites are optimized for search engines form day one and automatically submit updates to the search engines – without you lifting a finger!

Be Found When People Search For Real Estate Information In Your Area

Here’s a starter list of keywords you should try ranking for with your own real estate website:

  1. [Your Name]
  2. [Your Name] Realtor
  3. [Your Name] Real Estate
  4. [Your Name] [Your City]
  5. Homes for Sale in [Your City]
  6. [Your City] Foreclosures
  7. Foreclosures in [Your City]
  8. Sell My House in [Your City]

Like I said, that’s just a starter list.  Once you see how easy it is to get great search engine placement using your real estate website, you’ll probably want to expand on what you’ve built.  No sweat, our search engine placement strategy works for any keywords you choose.   Of course, the higher the competition for your search terms, the longer it takes to get good placement.

Be Found When People Search For Anything In Your City

Once you’ve got the search engine market cornered for real estate info in your area, you should consider going for other terms:

  • Parks in your city
  • Recreation in your city
  • Attractions in your city
  • Neighborhoods in your city
  • Restaurant reviews for your city
  • Shopping in your city
  • The list goes on…

It’s always better to start small and work your way into more advanced search engine strategies as you develop systems – that’s exactly what our system is designed to help you do.  When you get a real estate website from my-real-estate-website.com, YOU WILL GET BETTER SEARCH ENGINE RESULTS!
